When the war between people comes to an end, another begins: the war of the senses, where reason gives way to excess, like the intoxication of the soul. It is this idea that inspired the encounter between these three works. Antoine Pierini poured molten glass as though oil or wine were flowing from the amphorae, causing them to burst open.

This installation was created especially for the exhibition Dreaming the Mediterranean, presented at Villa Kérylos in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, France, in 2022.
