At the convergence of family heritage and Mediterranean influences, multiple paths come together within the heart of this sculpture. Amphorae, once humble terracotta vessels of everyday use, take shape in glass and are transformed. Their status shifts, revealing Antoine Pierini’s exploration of light and form.

Resembling either human figures or spools of thread, do they not also recall the story of Penelope, weaving as she waited for Ulysses to return?
